Declaration of Faith

WE BELIEVE

that there is only one God, Supreme Being, Creator and Sustainer of the universe.

that human beings were created in the image and likeness of God.

that the image of God in human beings has been affected by sin.

that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, who died on the cross and rose again on the third day to redeem us from sin and condemnation, and who is now seated at the right hand of God in heaven as King and Lord .

that the church is the community of Christ's disciples, in whom God's Holy Spirit dwells and through whom Christ continues his redemptive ministry in the world.

that Jesus Christ will come again to judge the living and the dead.

that the Bible is the accurate, God-inspired record of the life and teachings of Jesus, apostolic doctrine, the history of Israel and creation. In these Holy Scriptures we find the basis of what we know about God and we should use them as a guide in everything we do and teach.
